About Us!

Heirloom Quilting was started over 18 years ago by avid quilter Durfee Burtner. Her love of quilting and passion for fabric led her to starting a fabulous quilt store located in Brookville, PA. Currently, Durfee’s daughter, Ellie Newlin runs Heirloom Quilting. Ellie is committed to helping customers and is gifted at finding the perfect complimentary fabrics. Her ability to order the most fun and fresh fabrics will make sure that no quilter leaves Heirloom disappointed! Ellie and Durfee also offer long-arm quilting services.

Close to I-80 and Cook Forest, this store has helped thousands of quilters find fabric and projects. With over 9,000 bolts of fabric (but who’s counting?) of 100% cotton material, pre-cuts, batting, wool, hundreds of patterns, books, threads and notions, any person with any skill level can find something to love. We have a year-round seasonal room for the quilter hoping to get a head start on their Christmas or Thanksgiving quilt, even in the middle of February!
